Happy Small Business Saturday! I’m so happy to bring you for the 5th year in a row my St. Louis Gift Guide which features an amazing group of small businesses in St. Louis that you can discover and shop from as you’re doing your holiday shopping. I love discovering new local businesses to support myself and to not only keep them in mind for the holidays but throughout the year as I’m buying loved ones birthday gifts, thank you gifts or congratulation gifts. So I encourage you to do the same to do the same support local businesses this holiday season and beyond. Now without furthermore, here is my 2021 St Louis Gift Guide and the wonderful business owners behind all the magic- enjoy!
Bee in the Bucket– Looking for a unique card to gift? Then look no further than Bee in the Bucket created by Cindy. Cindy creates portraits of people, animals, and seasonal themes using elements of nature. These works come together slowly..Every little seed, stem and blossom helps bring these compositions to life. Upon completion a photo is snapped before it’s time to send the foliage back into nature.
Where You Can Find Bee in the Bucket:

Stitch A Pet– This small business is an extra special one for all the pet owners and one that I want everyone to know about because my dear friend (we met in college), Kelly started it and I mean look at how great her work is! Stitch A Pet takes photos of your favorite furry friends and turns them into kitschy cross stitch portraits to help you achieve those grandma-cool vibes you’ve been searching for. Each portrait is made to order using a photo of your pet to capture every spot, freckle, and goofy tongue that makes your pet uniquely them. Her passion for animals goes beyond creating art in their honor, she wants to make a difference to the animals we love. That’s why she donate 10% of profits to local animal rescues in the Saint Louis area.

Blueprint Coffee- Is our favorite coffee spot in town. We’re fortunate to live close to the Delmar location and have loved going in to grab a cup of coffee (also their breakfast sandwich is bomb) and buying their coffee beans to enjoy at home. Blueprint Coffee seeks a mutually beneficial relationship loop among our producers, vendors, wholesale partners, and customers. Good coffee must be good from the start, so we dedicate a tremendous amount of time selecting a few coffees that are fresh and exciting. The beauty in these coffees is maintained through precise roasting, brewing, and training methods. Our company was born because a handful of baristas knew there was a need for a more transparent way to serve and present coffee. We encourage you to stop by for a cup and join in the loop.
