Bandanas are the new necklace and scarf. I see more and more people wearing this as an everyday piece and I can totally see why. You can toss it on pretty much anything and wear it many different ways and it is an inexpensive piece. Also, if you don’t have a bandana you can use a light fabric scarf and tie exactly s the examples you see above and it would work just the same!
The key to styling a bandana is the fold. Depending how you would like to wear it will determine how you will fold it. Here are a few examples:
The Necklace:Fold the scarf or bandanna into a triangle and continue folding until it forms one long strand. Tie it at the ends and you’re done!
The Backwards Necklace: Repeat steps for the necklace but this time, tie the ends all the way on the back of your neck. Done!
The Choker: Fold the scarf or bandanna into a triangle and continue folding until it forms one long strand. Wrap tightly around the neck (forward to back), then wraparound again and tie a tight double knot in the front.
The Outlaw: Fold the scarf or bandana into a triangle and tie the ends loosely. Pretty simple?
Now go out there and buy a bandana or scarf and try these 4 looks out!
