If you’re favorite color of clothing to wear on rotation is black then this post is for you.
- Statement shoes- Booties, sneakers, heels, switch it up and invest a few that have a unique, pattern, texture or color. This will give you a nice pop of color with your outfit and be the first thing that catches anyones attention.
- Vests & Ponchos- Now these are the ones in which you really should consider buying a few because you really can wear the same all black outfit and just switch toss over a vest or poncho and no one would realized you wore the same pants and top underneath a day prior. I personally have 2 faux fur vest that I rotate in the winter and at least 6 ponchos that are different patterns and colors that I just toss on when I don’t really want to think about what to wear but know it will still look put together.
- Scarfs- This is in the same bucket as vests and ponchos, get a variety of pattern and colors and just toss it on. The great thing about scarfs is that you can style them many ways so you could even wear the same one with a twist.
- Jewelry- I cannot reinforce enough how important jewelry is a must have in your wardrobe. Now, you may not wear it all so pick what you are comfortable with and invest in those pieces. I for example wear my same 2 rings all the time and hav really small wrists so I stick to necklaces and earrings.
- Glasses or Sunglasses- Obviously if you wear glasses on the daily this is a bonus for you because you can rotate out your sunglasses and glasses. I personally have 3 pairs of glasses (all different frames) and I select the pair I will be wearing (if I’m not wearing my contacts) depending on my outfit which has become really fun for me. Same with sunglasses, they can instantly complete an outfit when adding that last touch, so buy a few cheap ones and roate them accordantly.
My last tip for keeping your all black outfits on rotation is to invest in different black clothing pieces that are a little different. This black top (from Soft Surroundings) has a flowy back and my pants have cut out in the front, giving my black clothes a fun component to it.
