Colder seasons are approaching which means it’s jacket season and I personally have these 5 that I wear on rotation, honestly with my same all black look! It has taken me a few years to find these five jackets that are fitted to my size perfectly so I would say that if you’re looking to also add any or all of these to your wardrobe know that it can take some time and you will save money if you’d buy them all at once. Now time to share the 5 essential jackets that I believe you need in your wardrobe.
- Green Army Jacket– This is a classic that I have found is great when you may be a little cold or are looking to add and easy and light jacket to your fall look.
- Jean Jacket- A staple to have and wear year round. A jean jacket can be a great transitional piece and one that is reach for every season depending where you may live. I personally have two jean jackets myself (a darker and lighter wash) both which I found at secondhand, so def be sure to look for some in your area at thrift stores.
- Bomber Jacket- The bomber jacket I have is actually a 2 for 1 because it is reversible! In general I reach for my bomber jacket when I am wanting to have a chic yet casual look and when I am traveling because it is comfortable and pull together the look.
- (Faux) Leather Jacket- Pick the leather of your choice, nowadays there are also a lot of faux leather options that are vegan so also another great choice. This jacket is a staple that I believe everyone (male and female) should have in their wardrobe as it gives any look an instant edge, need I say more.
- Puffer Jacket- I finally purchased a puffer jacket myself last year after realizing I didn’t have anything for when I went on hikes or a walk when it got a little chiller for a jacket but too warm for a coat. If you live in an area where you get all 4 seasons I highly recommend investing in a puffer jacket for those in between times of the year.
