It’s Spring Fashion Week here in St. Louis and last week was our Spring Soiree! ALIVE teamed up with West County Mall to show all the latest trends that can be bought right in their stores. As well as, Siteman Cancer Center to highlight these women who have been cancer free for years. Did I mention that all the proceeds went directly to the Siteman Cancer Center? To help more women like these, so that hopefully one day they too will be holding a number to show how many years they have been cancer free.
I’m very happy to have attended this event, especially because it hit so close to home.
Spanish/Español: Es tiempo para la moda de La Primavera y eso significa que es tiempo para otro desfile en la pasarela que en San. Luis, MO. Esta ves ALIVE no solamente se junto con la mall West County para enseñares la mejor ropa de la moda que puedes compra en las tiendas pero tambien con Siteman Cancer Center. Siteman Cancer Center es un lugar aqui en San Luis donde mujeres van para recibir tratamiento para cáncer. Y no solamente ayudaron recaudar dinero para ellos pero tambien caminaron por la pasarela las mujeres que han vivido años si cáncer! Cada mujer cambiaba con un numero para címbalos cuantos años llevan sin tiener cáncer.
Porque yo he tiendo gente cerca en mi vida con cáncer, este evento fue significante para mi.
