Checkmate!

Time to beat the Monday Blues or Winter Blues, with a few tips on how to shop affordably throughout the year. I have a few things I stick to that help me save several bucks while dressing on point, check it!

Tiempo para vencer a los azules de lunes o de el invierno, con algunos consejos sobre cómo comprar asequible durante todo el año. Tengo unas cosas que me ayudan a ahorrar varios dólares, mientras que el vestido en punto!

Shop at thrift stores– These are my best friend and with so many thrift stores now a day, you can find gems for a fraction of the price! I usually stick to “higher end” thrift stores like The Scholar Shop, but I also have found steals at Plato’s and Goodwill. 

Swap or purchase clothes online- You’d be surprised how much stuff you can find online for a very cheap price. The key with this is you HAVE to know what size you are in every store. For example if you’re buying something on Ebay that’s used, be sure you do research on the brand and know the clothes form that store actually fit you. I would also advise looking into apps like Poshmark, where you can purchase and/or swap.

Shop out of season- This time of year is the best time to shop for winter attire, why? Because stores are trying to get rid of their merchandise to make room for their Spring collection. Shopping at the end of any season for the following year will always save you money, but don’t go crazy!

Coupons- I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought something on sale and have had a coupon and it comes out to an even better deal! Often you can find  store’s coupons online but I would advise signing up for their email list to get even more.

(TIP- I actually have an email account I created just for coupons, this way my personal inbox doesn’t get overloaded)

Find a great tailor- If you struggle like I do to find clothes, find a tailor! Ever since I found mine, i have bought things 4x my size and she has worked wonders and made them fit like a glove. Theirs nothing like having clothes fit you just right!

Warning: Once you start getting clothes custom fitted, you’ll want all of your clothes done!

Create a list and budget- Write down all the things you want and ask yourself what you really need vs. what you want to only wear once. Give yourself a limit to how much you’re willing to spend on that item and stick to it!

Law of Attraction- I have this belief that if I really want something but it’s too expensive, I’ll wait, think about it, sometimes pray about finding it and it being in my budget (Yes, I’m that kind of person) and soon enough it will come to me.

Compra en la Segunda- Estos son mi mejor amigo y con tantas tiendas de segunda mano ahora un día, usted puede encontrar gemas para una fracción del precio! Normalmente se pegan a “gama alta” tiendas de segunda mano como The Scholar Shop, pero también he encontrado robos de Platón y de Buena Voluntad.

 Intercambiar o comprar la ropa en línea-Usted se sorprendería de la cantidad de cosas que usted puede encontrar en línea por un precio muy barato. La clave con esto es que usted tiene que saber el tamaño que está en todas las tiendas. Por ejemplo, si usted va a comprar algo en Ebay que se utiliza, asegúrese de hacer una investigación sobre la marca y sabe la forma de ropa que almacenan realmente encaja usted. También te aconsejo mirar en aplicaciones como Poshmark, donde se puede comprar y / o canje.

Compra fuera de la temporada- Esta época del año es el mejor momento para comprar ropa de invierno, ¿por qué? Debido a que las tiendas están tratando de deshacerse de su mercancía para hacer espacio para su colección de primavera. De compras en el final de cualquier época del año para el año siguiente siempre le ahorrará dinero, pero no volverse loco!

Coupons- No puedo decirle cuántas veces he comprado algo a la venta y he tenido un cupón y viene a un mejor trato! A menudo se puede encontrar cupones de la tienda en línea, pero yo aconsejaría suscribirse a su lista de correo electrónico para obtener aún más.

(Un consejo: en realidad tengo una cuenta de correo electrónico que he creado sólo para cupones, de esta manera mi bandeja de entrada personal no quede sobrecargado)

Encuentra una gran sastre- Si usted lucha como hago para encontrar ropa, encontrar una sastre! Desde que encontré la mía, me he comprado cosas 4x mi talla y ella ha hecho maravillas y las han encajan como un guante. La suya nada como tener ropa que encaja a la perfección!

Advertencia: Una vez que usted comienza a recibir ropas fabricadas a la medida, usted querrá toda la ropa hecho!

Crear una lista y presupuesto- Anote todas las cosas que quieres y te preguntas lo que realmente necesita versus lo que quieres usar solamente una vez. Dése un límite a la cantidad que está dispuesto a gastar en ese tema y se adhieren a ella!

 

Ley de la atracción-Tengo la creencia de que si realmente quiero algo, pero es demasiado caro, voy a esperar, pienso, a veces pido sobre la búsqueda de ella y estar en mi presupuesto (Sí, soy ese tipo de persona) y pronto vendrá a mí.
