I’m sure all of you have heard of Colourpop by now because it is all over the internet and everyone is talking about it. Well I’m here to say that the hype is all it cracks up to be. I have tried a few of their products but overall am in love with their lip products, in particular their matte line. I hardly ever leave the house without anything on my lips and most of the time I’m rocking Colourpop!
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip- First off let me say that when they say matte they mean matte as in this ain’t going anywhere! The pigment is phenomenal but I have found that they always dry off a little darker than the color you originally see. Also, because they are so drying I apply Vitasilena which is just a Mexican version of Vasaline onto my lips and then the matte gloss. I have found that it helps with the drying as this when applied is wet and then drys very quickly. Still not enough to pass the kissing test but enough to eat and drink and not have to reapply!

Colourpop Matte Lippie Stick- I also have only tried this in matte just because I don’t like any gloss or sheer finishes to my lip products because they come off so fast. The lippie stick is a like any lipstick, a cream touch when being applied to the lips but leaves a dry matte finish. I tend to wear this throughout the whole day as opposed to the Ultra Matte Lip because I feel that it is less drying. Again, it applies very vibrant and it’s only $5! http://bit.ly/28OUhLX
Side note: They have come out with Matte X Lippie Stick which if you don’t think the original one is matte enough then this one will be perfect for you!
Colourpop Lippie Pencil I honestly did not become a lip liner person until recently and now use it everyday before applying my lipstick. Colourpop’s lipliner is so creamy and applies easily and vibrant. I have even used this all over my lips just as lipstick and since it dries matte, it stays on for the majority of the day. My only pet peeve about it is that you have to sharpen it and for me I just feel that you lose some of the product in the process.
