Winter has officially hit us here in St. Louis and with it comes all of the big, bulky and basic (yet warm) survival gear. However, I’ve come to learn that we don’t need to sacrifice looking nice to save ourselves from hypothermia. The JC Penney wingtip boot is a great way to increase your shoe game while keeping warm in the process.
At first glance the Stafford Deacons appear to be on the upper reaches of one’s budget. However, a quick look at JCP’s website proves that the Deacons are not only very affordable, but are rated nearly 5 stars. These suckers look amazing and are sold through JCP which means the discounts are never ending. I can personally attest that people will mistake the Stafford Deacons for $300 boots.
Now the wingtip design on these boots makes them very office friendly and can really do a number for your casual dress options. Also, you don’t have to worry about damaging the rubber soles with salt or water as you do with leather or wood alternatives. What’s the drawback? The Deacons are not goodyear welted meaning the soles cannot be replaced when worn down…that’s it!
You can currently grab the Deacons for $51.99 with the code GRTSVNGS. Go ahead, your feet will thank you.
