Wear solids- You want your coat to be the star of the show so don’t wear anything that will compete with in pattern or color. Sometimes neutral is your best way to go.
Wear Fitted Clothing- Most of these coats are worn a little over so you want to make sure that everything does not look too big on you.
Minimize the Jewelry- Remember if you want this to be your statement piece you’ll want all the attention on the coat so go for studded earrings or a pedant necklace. But if you’re trying to be a little more loud then go for the jewelry.
Hair- Consider pinning it back or doing a slick back look. I always feel this gives a badass vibe.
Heels it up- You gotta rock a heel or a boot to complete this look. It’s just a must.
