I know that we are all still in quaratine and that we have been given the light at the end of the tunnel. Soon enough a few places will be opening back up and hopefully very soon we will all go back to life pre coronavirus but we can’t forget to keep supporting local businesses and that also includes photographer! I have lots of photographer friends that I have made throughout the years and have been talking to them through all this and just like other small businesses they have taken a hit and have had to readjust. So if you want to help support photographers (because most of them are a 1 person team) as they are a small business too here are a few things you can do right now to help them because we are all going to want some great memories captured once this is all done.
How to support photographers during and post quarantine:
- Book a Future Session– Many photographers are already doing a great job and working with everyone to accommodate during these times but consider a special occasion or photos you may want and get on their radar. Because I guarantee you won’t be the only one wanting pictures once this is all over and they are going to book up!
- Post a Review– On their page, on their social media, on yelp and anywhere you can because people read that shit and if you loved your pictures and your experience, chances are others will too!
- Refer Them– Best referral is always word of mouth and guess what you have pictures to show everyone the work of your photographer and who doesn’t love pretty pictures to have in their home?
- Share & Tag– Use your social media and spread some love by showing some of the pictures taken in the past, this costs you nothing and with everyone on their phone more and more, you may help someone find their next favorite photographer!
