Summer calls for dresses, bright colors and bright lips to make a bold statement! It’s time to put away those vamp lip colors and wear something bright to complement your personality. Time to talk about some of my favorite Summer lippies and how to gain the confidence to rock these bold colors!

I’ll say this, I love smiling and a wearing bold lip colors because I love my smile and how contagious it is but this wasn’t always the case. I use to think my teeth were too big and yellow so I never smiled with my teeth. Pick a few lip colors that compliment your skin tone, hair and style. Be sure you also know what your lips can and can’t do, what I mean about this is knowing if your lips need constant moisturizer. Matte lips are pretty amazing but they can leave your lips chapped so consider picking a balm formula vs a matte formula. The sun drys out your lips extra in the Summer so be sure to always have a chapstick handy and go with a lipgloss, balm or lipstick that has a rehydrating formula.
And DON’T be scared to try something new like a purple or orange lip color!
