In case you haven’t noticed yet, it’s been raining like every other day here in STL. Or is that just the tears of all of the NHL Blues fans as their team is bounced yet again in first round playoffs? Can’t tell the difference anymore.
This month’s post is about keeping those kicks properly dry. Although I’m sure everyone has a pair or few of boatshoes that can weather the storm, let’s be real, some of our Sperry’s would look much nicer if a drop of water never touched them. Enter, the duck boot. These suckers are the best at keeping your feet dry and look great doing so. They are making such a comeback that there was literally a shortage (http://www.npr.org/2014/12/18/371413482/new-popularity-of-l-l-bean-boots-sparks-scramble-to-fill-orders) that happened late last year. I purchased the LL Bean model “bean boots” a few years ago and have been blown away with their durability – they are well worth the dough. The trick is in the rubber lining and triple stitching…each employee is trained 26 weeks to learn how to make these suckers! Anyway, take a look and check out this quality shoe to battle those showers / tears.
