So if you are anything like me you enjoy shopping great deals and most likely want to get some kind of deal when getting rid of your old clothes and accessories you no longer use. Well, Thredup is so big because it buys their items from people like you and me in order to stock their inventory, so I decided to try selling my stuff to them and here is my experience…

How big is the bag?
First off, when I asked about how big the bag was I was told it was like a Mary Poppins bag and it was no joke. It comes so well packaged that at first when you recieved it I thought there is no way I can fit all my stuff in this bag but when I opened it I was wrong!
How much did it cost me?
You will end up paying about $10 for the bag to ship back so I recommend starting off with 1 bag and seeing if the cost is worth it for you. They take the $10 out of your amount from what they are paying you form your clothes. More details here: http://bit.ly/2k7bm7I
How much was I able to fit into the bag?
A LOT! When I say a lot, holy smokes I’m not kidding. They also give the option to have what they did not select shipped back to you which they charge for or have it donated. I picked to donate it because I was just trying to get rid of old clothes I had no more use for in my apartment.
How long did it take for them to sort through my bag and giving me a value?
It took them a little over a month, which apparently is average. So if you are looking to send your clothes and get money fast, this is not the route to go for you.
How much did I get?
I got about $8 for 2 items, which was nothing near what I was expecting but I didn’t get charged the $10 for the bag and get noting for my clothes. You also have the option to get paid the amount they selected for you items or wait until it sells, I just waited until it sold and had it added to my account for future purchases.
Would I recommend it?
Honestly, only if you were like me and just trying t get rid of your stuff and don’t care how much you get for it. Don’t go in expecting you will get something for each piece, for that you would have better luck selling your items online or at a yard sale.

Lo recomiendo?
Honestamente, sólo si usted era como yo y sólo tratando de t deshacerse de sus cosas y no les importa cuánto se obtiene por ello. No vaya a esperar que usted conseguirá algo para cada pedazo, para eso usted tendría suerte mejor que vende sus artículos en línea o en una venta de yarda.
