this was the dress I was wearing when Chris and I met! We met over 2 years ago at a Kentucky Derby themed charity event that I was interning at the time and Chris attended it with a few of his friends and the rest is pretty much history.

I was cleaning out my closet and thought about donating this dress since I really  haven’t worn it since but Chris “you can’t get rid of that dress, it’s the first thing I ever saw you in”. I immediately thought Oh My Goodness you’re right, I can’t!  So we agreed to never get rid of the clothing we were wearing when we first met. Cheesy I know, but for us that day marked the beginning of our life together and being into style like we are we want to freeze a moment in time and see how styles change over the years.

este era el vestido que llevaba puesto cuando Chris y yo nos conocimos! Nos conocimos hace más de 2 años en un evento de caridad temática Derby de Kentucky que estaba internado en el momento y Chris asistimos con algunos de sus amigos y el resto es más o menos la historia.

Estaba limpiando mi armario y pensé en la donación de este vestido ya que realmente no lo ha usado desde entonces, pero Chris me dijo ” no puedes deshacerse de ese vestido, es la primera cosa que te vi en “. Inmediatamente pensé  “Dios santo tienes razón, no puedo!” Así que nos pusimos de acuerdo para nunca deshacerse de la ropa que llevábamos cuando nos conocimos por primera vez. Cursi lo sé, pero para nosotros ese día marcó el comienzo de nuestra vida juntos y estar en el estilo como nosotros queremos congelar un momento en el tiempo y ver cómo cambian los estilos en los últimos años.
