Slowly but surely starting to tiptoe back into some travel and I was so happy to do a mini getaway here in town to celebrate a friend. This gave me the opportunity to make sure I had all my travel essentials needed for the weekend in my travel kit ready to go before arriving at our rental. I have to say it felt very joyful to be able to bring out my travel luggage and pack my clothes and travel items even if it was only for 2 days in town. One of the places that I have found had a great selection of luggage, travel size items, and even comfy clothes to travel in has been Walmart. Walmart Home has everything you need for your next mini getaway or can also be your one stop shop in case you forgot to pack something needed. Because lets face it even the best of packers and planners have been there.
It might have been a short car ride but I believe in always dressing comfortable when traveling and this weekend was a hot one so I decided to opt for a breathable dress. Plus my 4 wheel travel suitcase, because who wants to be pulling a suitcase when you can just lightly push it?

Lastly, a must have when traveling is a travel kit with all of your essentials. I personally have the habit of checking all my items after a trip and refilling them so my travel kits is always ready to go. I have found that you can buy single travel items or if you have a family or are traveling with a few people, Walmart also allows you to buy several of them in one pack. Making future travel much easier and cutting back on possibly running out of something you may need. One of my personal favorite travel items is a Travelo (linked below) which you can refill with your favorite perfume so that you aren’t having to take the whole bottle with you. How genius is that?!
