- Determine what length necklace you want first and where you want it to land on your body. Are you confortable with a short one or is a longer one a better fit? If you can’t pick just yet try getting a delicate necklace you can adjust to make shorter or longer!
- Don’t de afraid to stack them. Meaning if you have a short necklace throw on another long delicate necklace to make it look like it comes that way.
- Make sure this is your statement piece and allow it to sine on it’s own. Don’t go adding more jewelry other than stud earring as you want this to steal the show!
- Play with color, go all one color to play it safe or start mixing up the metals and chains to see if you like that more.
I also want to advise wearing it at home before going out. This may sound silly but you want to make sure you know you have it on, meaning you don’t want to accidentally reach for something and in the process break it off.
