Since Valentine’s Day is this weekend I thought I do a quick DIY project you can make as a gift or after when you don’t know what to do with the flowers you received. It was very simple and inexpensive, especially if you have a coupon for Michael’s, Joanna, or Hobby Lobby.
This project was extra special to me because these are the first flowers Chris has ever gave me and I wanted to find a way to cherish them forever. Especially because the day he gave them to me marked a very special day in our relationship.
You Will Need:
1. Dead flowers (hang them upside down when drying so they keep their straight form)
2. A hot glue gun and glue
3. Scissors
4. A Shadow Box
5. Hairspray
Necesitares:
1. Flores muertas
2. Tijeras
3. Pistola de pegamento caliente y pegamento
4. Cuadro- Caja de sombra
5. Laca para el cabello
Also I would recommend measuring how big your flowers are because I didn’t realize that my flowers needed more depth and I had to go buy another frame. I added black paper to the new frame and kept the fabric or the original board because I had already hot glued it :/
Here’s the finishing product! I hope you enjoyed this simple tutorial and if you decide to give it a try please show me pictures and let me know how it went!
