As promised here is my highliy anticipated DIY Tulle Skirt Tutorial! Many of y’all were asking about it in my Blogversary pictures and were shocked when I said I had made it myself. I’m not a big diy person but every now and then I will try something new and cross my fingers it doesn’t look like a Pinterest fail. Trust me its easier and cheaper than you think, this project only cost me about $10!
You will need: tulle, scissors, measuring tape, and a thin belt
Necessitares: tulle, tijeras, cinta métrica y un sinto delgado
1. Gather all of your material. ( I bought about 10-15 yards of tulle)
Junta toda tu material. (Yo compre 10-15 pies de tul)
2. Measure how long you want your skirt to be and when you cut it double the measurement (you’ll be knotting it so it needs measure evenly on both sides).
3. Cut the tulle double the original length. If you want your skirt to be 22 inches long, you will cut 44 inches.
4. Take your cut tulle and place it on the belt and make a knot with it in the middle. Repeat this with all of your cut pieces until the belt becomes full and looks like a skirt.
And you’re done! I would recommend wearing shorts under it because it doesn’t have a lining. Now go rock your diy and fool people into thinking you bought it!

I’m super excited about this tutorial! I’ve been wanting a tulle skirt for awhile now, but can’t commit to the high price tags for such an impractical item. Thanks for sharing
